Matt Clark’s Days Are Numbered

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of January 5-9 suggest fans will see more of Matt Clark, a.k.a. Mitch Bacall, played by Roger Howarth. Still, it does look as if the villain’s storyline may wrap up.

Fans need to brace for some action-packed scenes up ahead as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) attempt to bring the baddie down.

Added teasers imply that Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will get rescued, so it feels as if the end is near for Matt and seeing Roger Howarth on the soap. Although his story comes to a close, it looks like he’ll be on the canvas both this week and possibly next.

Actress Catherine Kresge continues her run as Detective Annie Stewart, the crooked cop working with Matt.

Fans can expect to see her on the Monday, January 5 show, as she helps Matt use Sienna as ransom. Still, there’s also a very good chance that this could be her last week on the canvas for a while.

Additional Casting Notes

Speaking of Matt Clark’s chaos, The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that actor John Rushing will reprise his role as Mortonson, the Newman Family’s security guard.

It sounds like he’ll get involved in all the drama to help bring down Matt, so fans will see the guard get mixed up in all the action that ensues over the next five days.
