“Well, look, she’s got some decisions to make, obviously, right? I’ve always said a marriage proposal is essentially an ultimatum, so she’s got to make some decisions for sure,” Allen noted. “I think that Brie is quietly and understandably becoming more of an advocate for women in general. So I think she’ll be very much aligned with the Charmaine of it all because she can’t help it. She’s got this strong Sheridan hero complex, so I think that’s going to play into what you may see as well.”

After Brady’s love confession and their earlier pool table hookup, it’s beyond clear that Brie and Brady are far from over. “They have such good chemistry. It’s really hard to quit them,” she said.

However, Allen pointed out that “this slow burn is necessary for us, for Brie, to trust who Brady wants to be and how he wants to show up in a relationship. He’s gotta earn it, man, and it’s not gonna come easy.”

Both Allen and Hollingsworth are proud supporters of Brie and Brady’s love story, no matter where it goes. “We love the journey together and their fight for each other and for the good kind of love, despite their personal flaws,” Allen explained. “Ben and I are we really ship our characters, but they just have real human stuff to work through. I like that the writers haven’t wrapped them up neatly in a bow and given them nowhere else to go. There are human beings that have things to work out.”
