The Young and the Restless Sizzling 2026 Preview: Villainous Downfalls, Romantic Shockers and Wild Behavior

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a sizzling 2026 preview, so let’s talk about some villainous downfalls, romantic shockers and wild behavior.

For starters, we should discuss Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) since his takedown will definitely happen in 2026.

It’s just a matter of how much damage Matt will do first and whether he’ll face prison or a fatal exit.

In the aftermath of Matt’s departure, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have to figure out their next romantic steps.

Can Sharon and Nick finally get on the same page about their future together?

Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) own romantic future could come with some twists and turns as well.

Although Noah is convinced he’s in love with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), their relationship may be doomed after all this Matt drama.

However, Noah could easily drift back to his former flame, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), who may need some help as her past with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) threatens to blow up.

Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have to decide whether he’ll stick to his plan to trick Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and help the Abbotts or abandon them for the sake of Newman loyalty.

As for wildcard Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she might be able to lock in a deal with the Abbotts after all.

Once Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is out of other options, he might be more willing to sign over Marchetti to Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) in exchange for Phyllis’ help stealing back the AI program.

Speaking of Summer, all these mentions of her have to be building somewhere.

It seems likely that Summer will return to Genoa City in 2026, even if this involves another Y&R recast.

Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) may get a happy reunion with his mom, but what about Summer and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) potential romantic reunion?

No one can rule out the possibility of Kyle and Summer finding their way back to each other.

That said, Kyle’s attempt to move on from Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) may not go according to plan.

Claire and Kyle’s lingering feelings for each other could lead to a magnetic pull between them.

On another note, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will wind up feeling blue when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) walks out of his life once more.

It’s bound to happen due to Christel Khalil’s real-life maternity leave!

As Jack and Victor’s feud heats up, Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) vengeful nature may remain a source of concern.

Both Jack and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may sense that Billy’s on the verge of going back off the rails.

Will Billy stop himself before old habits drag him down or revert to an out-of-control version of himself?

Next, Y&R spoilers suggest Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) may completely lose touch with reality.

Between this whole mess with Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) growing connection to Daniel Romalott Jr. (Michael Graziadei), Mariah may have a true mental break and exhibit some risky behavior.

Some behind-the-scenes hints suggest Mariah may ride off in a getaway car with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (last played by River and Rainn Ware), so she may recall when she was “Bowie” aka Dominic’s surrogate and feel a bond with him again.

Whatever the case, there’s confirmation that someone in Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) immediate family is about to land in a dangerous situation.

The chaos that erupts will put a strain on Devon and Abby Winters’ (Melissa Ordway) marriage, so stay tuned for updates on whether they’ll be able to survive the storm.

Finally, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have to navigate more challenges.

It looks like Chelsea will move forward with quitting Newman Media, so we’ll see how that’ll affect her relationship with Adam in the coming year.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say 2026 will bring some highs and lows, so don’t miss what’s ahead on the CBS soap!
