Home and Away confirms dark new scenes as Lacey’s creepy stalker strikes again

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian-paced episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has confirmed some new dark scenes involving Lacey Miller, with her stalking ordeal set to worsen as Holden Dwyer’s behaviour becomes even more concerning by the day.

Holden has exhibited increasingly odd behaviour as he tried to get closer to Lacey. She gently rebuffed his offer of a romantic relationship, but he hasn’t taken no for an answer and gradually become more obsessed with her.

This culminated in Holden breaking into Lacey’s house, where he attacked Mali Hudson. He subsequently attempted to have a romantic dinner with Lacey, which made her truly realise just how disturbed Holden was.

In upcoming scenes at Australia, Lacey confides in her father, David Langham, about how worried she is. As a police officer, he encourages her to take out an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO), but he is evidently anxious regarding his daughter’s safety.

Just as they attempt to fill out the paperwork, Holden arrives at the police station and spooks David. David urges his colleagues to hide Lacey and keep her safe, all while he issues Holden the AVO during an interview.

“Holden is not happy about it,” explained Sophea Pennington, who plays Lacey, to TV Week. “He’s extremely upset and that’s a huge turning point in the story. You see a darker side of him.”

With some extra protection on her side, Lacey feels a little bit more comfortable, and agrees to meet Leah Patterson at the diner. They get a shock, however, when Holden storms into the building.

He ignores his AVO and confronts Lacey, becoming even angrier in the process. With Holden seemingly having little regard for the law, just how far will he go in his unhinged pursuit of Lacey?

“Lacey, very slowly, starts to trust her intuition,” added Pennington. “At first, she didn’t want to burden her dad, who’s already helped her so much, and wanted to handle this herself. But now she sees how dangerous Holden is.”

“It also highlights how women often can sense something isn’t right but are conditioned to override that instinct. It took Lacey a long time to get to this point of asking for help,” continued the actor.

Home and Away drops new episodes on weekdays at 6am on 5’s streaming service with a 6.30pm screening on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
