A Dangerous Secret Begins to Surface

The tension begins quietly enough. Leah starts to grow suspicious about Theo’s behavior after noticing he has been constantly messaging someone on his phone. Curious about the mystery woman occupying so much of his attention, she gently questions him. Theo, however, is reluctant to reveal too much.

He knows that the truth would raise immediate alarms: the girl he’s seeing, Lacy, has ties to the River Boys. The notorious group has a reputation for intimidation, street racing, and violence. Theo understands that revealing Lacy’s connection could cause serious concern among the people who care about him.

Eventually, under a bit more pressure, Theo admits part of the truth. He tells Leah that the woman he’s been seeing is already in a relationship—and that her boyfriend is not someone to mess with. Suddenly, the River Boys drag Theo into the garage, where his car sits suspended on a hydraulic lift. They force him onto the floor beneath it while tying him down.

Lacy, terrified, manages to secretly text Sunny with their location and a desperate plea for help.

As Gage climbs onto the control platform for the lift, he begins lowering the car toward Theo.

Theo and Lacy both beg him to stop.

Back in Summer Bay, Sunny receives Lacy’s message and immediately tries to contact Cash for help. But with no response, he realizes he may have to handle the situation himself.

He rushes to the depot.

Unfortunately, when he arrives, one of Gage’s men intercepts him before he can reach Theo. Sunny is dragged outside and beaten severely, left unconscious on the ground.

Ignoring Lacy’s desperate pleas, Gage slowly lowers the car until its crushing weight presses against Theo’s chest. Theo screams in agony as the pressure makes it nearly impossible to breathe.

Eventually, satisfied with the damage he’s inflicted, Gage tosses aside the lift control and orders everyone to leave.

Theo lies motionless beneath the car.

As the River Boys flee the scene, Sunny regains consciousness and struggles back into the garage. Injured and barely able to stand, he finds Theo unconscious beneath the car.

Panicking, Sunny attempts to raise the lift—but Gage has destroyed the control unit.

With Theo fading fast, Sunny frantically searches for his phone, desperate to call for help before it’s too late.
