Virgin River Welcomes Two New Faces as Season 7 Begins Filming md14
Virgin River is shaking things up in season seven with the arrival of two new cast members. Netflix has confirmed that The Vampire Diaries alum Sara Canning and Riverdale star Cody Kearsley are joining the hit drama, following Mark Ghanime’s departure as Cameron Hayek.
Canning will portray Victoria, a former police officer now working as an investigator for the state medical board. Sent to Virgin River to examine Doc’s medical practice, Victoria’s arrival quickly becomes personal when she reconnects with an old friend — a meeting that may spark something more.
Meanwhile, Kearsley steps into the role of Clay, a tough and athletic former rodeo worker searching for the sister he lost contact with years ago after growing up in foster care.
Season seven is officially in production in Vancouver, with stars Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson already spotted on set as Mel and Jack begin life as a married couple.
