The Young and the Restless Monday, December 29 Update: Sienna Stashed, Matt Threatens to Frame Nick, Phyllis Frustrated

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 29, reveals that drugged Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will be stashed in a motel room while Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) threatens to frame Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for a fatal crime.

At the park overlook on Monday’s Y&R episode, Matt will hear Nick’s proposal. Nick will be willing to deliver $1 million to Matt, but only if he returns Sienna safely and agrees to go away for good.

Matt will act like that amount should be more and will wonder just how much Sienna’s life is worth to Nick.

Although Matt will wonder why Nick even cares, he’ll assume it’s because Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) thinks he’s in love.

Nick will throw a couple of punches at Matt during this conversation, but Matt will continue to push his buttons anyway.

At one point, Matt will stand over the railing and act like he’s going to throw himself into the ravine to frame Nick.

Nick will call Matt’s bluff as he acts like he’s fine with that. Since Nick got off the hook the last time Matt tried to blame him, he’ll suggest he can do it again.

Nick will wonder if Matt needs any help going over the edge, but Matt will ultimately confess he’s not genuinely thinking about ending it all.

After Matt agrees to take the $1 million, he’ll want it wired to an offshore account.

Once Matt is out of the country and has his money, he’ll claim he’s willing to share Sienna’s whereabouts.

At Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) house, Noah will struggle to sit around and wait while Sienna’s in trouble.

Sharon will distract Noah a bit with beer and questions about his love life before Nick returns.

Nick will offer updates on Matt’s terms, so Noah will freak since he’ll fear Matt’s going to take the money without surrendering Sienna.

Although Nick will assure Noah that they’re not going to let Matt walk free, he’ll feel like they have to let things play out a bit for now.

In Matt’s motel room, Sienna will seemingly be drugged since she’ll be conked out on the bed while Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) babysits the hostage.

Once Matt gets back, he’ll give Annie the news about the $1 million he’s agreed to, but he won’t know if he’s going to return Sienna or let Noah survive.

At the coffeehouse, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will urge Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to pull the trigger on their deal.

Phyllis will insist she’s willing to put her hacking skills to good use and steal the AI program from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Since Phyllis will reiterate that all she wants is Marchetti for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) in return, she’ll act like this is a great deal for the Abbotts.

It’ll be frustrating for Phyllis when Billy admits the offer is now on the backburner.

Billy will push Phyllis to admit she previously had a deal with Victor and will want to know what he vowed to give her.

Phyllis will pretend she’s offended over Billy not believing her innocence.

Billy will eventually point out that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is the one Phyllis needs to get through to if she wants to make this deal happen.

Although Phyllis will corner Jack at the Abbott mansion and try to lock things in, Jack will stand by his decision to take the deal off the table for now.

Phyllis will still be too much of a wildcard as far as Jack’s concerned, but Billy will bicker with his brother privately later.

Billy will argue that going with Phyllis is better than trusting Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) or Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to go against Victor, but Jack suggest that they’ll see about that.

Billy will think that sounds like a challenge, so he’ll pitch the idea of moving ahead with all three tactics.

One of them might pull off a victory for the Abbotts, so Billy will try to get Jack to come around to his way of thinking.

Jack will seek confirmation that they’re going to destroy the AI program once they get it back.

Billy will insist that of course they are, but Jack will seem worried about what his brother might be plotting.

At the GCAC, Phyllis will leave Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) a voicemail since she’ll have some things she wants to run by him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis has more tricks up her sleeve, so stay tuned!
